What is the Impact of Marriage Equality?
By Wayne Seaton

The liberal agenda in our county is committed to ending the influence of Christianity in our country. They have waged war on the Christian ideals upon which this country was founded. With the Supreme Court decision last week which found in the Constitution rights that are clearly not there and which were never intended by the founding fathers as they formed this nation. The words marriage equality has been inundating the newspapers and online blogs. What marriage equality means is God's laws and structuring of the home is now considered obsolete. Everybody can marry anyone they want without any legal ramifications or accounting to any moral standard.

The majority of the justices of the Supreme Court do not even know how to do what is right. This was one of the same reasons Samaria, Israel's capital city, would be destroyed. God calls Ashdod and Egypt to witness the judgment at Israel's trial before God. Amos 3:9-10 "Proclaim on the citadels in Ashdod and on the citadels in the land of Egypt and say, "Assemble yourselves on the mountains of Samaria and see the great tumults within her and the oppressions in her midst. 10 "But they do not know how to do what is right," declares the Lord". That is the sad state of affairs in our own nation. Our Supreme Court Judges, the highest court in our land, do not even know how to do or rule what is right. They have completely redefined marriage for our nation after last week's ruling.

God Defined Marriage

Gen. 2:18-25 " Then the Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him." 19 Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name. 20 The man gave names to all the cattle, and to the birds of the sky, and to every beast of the field, but for Adam there was not found a helper suitable for him. 21 So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. 22 The Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. 23 The man said, "This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man." 24 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. 25 And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed."

God told man it was not good for him to be alone. What did God mean by that? The Lord paraded every beast of the ground that He made to show that everything has an order. Every animal had its own mate. He made them male and female. But for Adam there was not found a suitable helper. How did God remedy that situation? He took one of Adam's ribs and formed a woman for man to be that helper God said he needed. God ordered the first home by making one woman for man. Not multiple women but one woman. He did not make another man for man, but a woman. Then God gave the divine direction that would govern every home from that time onward. Man shall leave father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife and they shall become one flesh. That is how God defined marriage for all time. It is a relationship between one man and one woman for life. That definition that has stood the test of time for thousands of years, is now considered obsolete. states it this way. "The national strategy to win marriage for same-sex couples has always focused on a final victory at the U.S. Supreme Court. Since June 2013, there have been 65 rulings in favor of marriage for same-sex couples - clearly demonstrating that the country is ready and that the age-old arguments against the freedom to marry simply don't survive judicial review."

Marriage Was Never The End Game For LGBT Activists shows they are trying to radically transform American society and mold us into their image. "Now, the real fight begins, say leaders in the LGBT movement. And it won't be for the faint of heart.

So-called "marriage equality" is not the end-game, according to the activists. It's merely a window through which they will push for other rights, in housing, education, health care, employment and religious practice.

An op-ed in the Nation, a left-of-center magazine, provided a playbook for LGBT rights activists moving forward from last Friday's 5-4 ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court proclaiming same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states.

In that op-ed, LGBT activists were encouraged to take the offensive against any individual or group that does not agree with their worldview. "Create a specific anti-fascist infrastructure of social media, legal, research and watchdog groups to expose and defeat the right wing culturally and politically," writes the article's authors, a trio of LGBT rights activists. "In sum, the work ahead for queers is to be transformative, not transfixed."

A perusal of commentary from LGBT leaders shows that marriage was never the end game. The next step will be for activists to fan out throughout the 50 states, with a special focus on those less-friendly states in the Bible Belt and middle America."

Religious freedom is not what we can say or do in a church building. Religious liberty is the liberty to express our religion in everyday life. The Supreme Court just gave the LGBT a huge victory which will likely ultimately end our religious freedom as we know it.
